Pilgrims & Indians Theme {Free Printables + Activity & Craft Round-Up}

Once again we are joining in the fun with the Adventure Story Book Club. The theme for November was Pilgrims & Indians.

We honestly haven’t done much with the theme this month because it has been a little hectic around here with some medical craziness, preparing for a big Framily Thanksgiving Feast, & planning a move to a new house. {More on all of that at another time}

We spent most of the month just reading through the books in our November Reading Basket. One of our favorite books was The Mayflower by Mark Greenwood. It was a good story of the historical events from when the Mayflower first set sail for the New World up to the Thanksgiving Feast. The pictures are full of color with nice detail. Everett liked to discuss tiny details that he would pick out from each picture.

We spent quite a bit of time talking about the Pilgrims building their houses. Then Everett decided that he wanted to build his own house with his Lincoln Logs. I love it when something so simple as reading a book inspires him to do something creative on his own.
I found a great free clip art website and decided to try my hand at creating a couple printable worksheets for Everett. {I hope to be making more in the future!}

Please feel free to print as many as you would like for personal use.

You can share these printables by linking back to this blog post only, please do not link directly to the pdf file.
We also watched this Thanksgiving video from BrainPOPJr. Everett loves Moby the robot.

Now here’s a little Round-Up of a few more Printables, Activities, & Crafts that I found!
