Robert Craig “Evel” Knievel was born on October 17, 1938, in Butte, Montana. Evel Knievel was an American stunt performer and entertainer known for his death-defying motorcycle jumps.
During his career, Knievel attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps from 1965 and 1980. He suffered more than 433 broken bones, which earned him a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the survivor of “most broken bones in a lifetime”.
