Gathering Resources: September Lesson Planning

When I switched my blog from Blogger to WordPress a few months ago, I did so because I really had plans to post 3 to 4 times each week, however it has been a crazy few weeks (ok, ok…a crazy few months!) and blogging has slipped by the wayside. Well I am intentionally squeezing in some time for blogging and for growing this blog.

Although we technically school year round, it is the beginning of the new school year for most, so I thought this would be a great time to start a new blog series for monthly homeschool lesson planning. Each month I gather resources from the internet to use in my lesson planning. Since we are on a fairly strict homeschool budget, most of the resources that I gather are free (or extremely inexpensive). I think this will make a great blog series!

Gather Resources-sept

The resources will coincide with monthly holidays or historical events, as well as, the books that we will be reading for the month through our base curriculum Five In A Row.

Even though it is almost the middle of the month all ready (seriously, where has the month gone!), here are my gathered resources for September Lesson Planning. And yes, I try to make it as easy as possible on myself by using Pinterest for collecting the resources I find (click here to follow me and my obsessive-compulsive pinning)….however, there are usually a few that just won’t pin, so I will just have to link to them the old fashioned way.
