15 Fall Activities for Creative & Educational Fun with Leaves

There are so many simple and educational activities to include in your homeschooling in the fall that takes very little planning (and that is a good thing!). Tromping through the woods to collect leaves for crafts, experiments, observation, and study is probably one of our all-time favorite fall activities.

Kick off your fall activities by reading the book Why Do Leaves Change Color? to incorporate the love of fall and science. This will answer the question on why the leaves change colors and open the door for some great science experiments and crafts.
