Building a Homeschool Library ~ January

Welcome to Building A Homeschool Library ~ One Thrift Store at a Time!

Today I will be sharing with you the books that I found at our local thrift store in January. It’s a fairly short list this month, as I only made it out to the thrift store once in January, but it was on $.25 Book Day! I found six books and only spent $1.50.

The Legend of the Easter Egg by Lori Walburg. This book will be a great go along book when we row Cranberry Easter by Wende and Harry Devlin (how crazy is it that this book is over $800 on Amazon!!) in March.

How a Seed Grows by Helene J. Jordan. This will be a great addition to our Spring & Garden unit that I am planning for April.

The Little Island by Golden MacDonald and Leonard Weisgard.

Firefighters A to Z by Chris L. Demarest. Remember how I have said that I have an ever-growing collection of ABC books? Any-who….I can add this book to our read-a-loud list for Fire Safety Month in October.

The Last Polar Bears by Harry Horse.

The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg by Rodman Philbrick.
